Wheel Thrown Pottery

This four-session pottery workshop introduces participants to the fundamentals of working with clay on the wheel. You'll learn techniques for shaping, throwing, and refining your pieces while working alongside experienced instructors. By the end of the course, you'll have created several handmade pieces and gained the skills and confidence to continue pottery-making on your own. All clay and tools are provided—just bring a towel. The workshop is open to teens and adults ages 13 and up (younger participants must be registered and accompanied by an adult). Cost is $160 for Conner Prairie members and $175 for nonmembers. The class meets once a week for four weeks in the afternoon or evening, depending on which session you choose. Register online for the first class date, and you'll be all set to begin.
