The National Bank of Indianapolis Summer Nights Film Series

Join Newfields this summer for outdoor movie magic that's been delighting families for five decades. Each evening features a beloved classic or lesser-known gem, preceded by a short film and live music from local DJs. The gates open at 7 PM, giving you plenty of time to claim your spot on the grass, grab some popcorn, and settle in as the sun dips below the horizon. Bring your own blankets and snacks (non-alcoholic drinks welcome), plus sunscreen and bug spray to stay comfortable during an Indiana summer evening. Between the sunset and showtime, enjoy games, trivia, and activities to keep everyone entertained. If you'd rather skip the ground setup, consider purchasing a reserved seating ticket for a guaranteed chair, or pre-buy a blanket to take home afterward. Concessions and alcoholic beverages are available for purchase. Movies run throughout June, July, and August with varying start times based on sunset. In case of bad weather, films move indoors to The Tobias Theater at 9 PM—you'll get an email notification if that happens. Film selections may change as the season progresses.
