The National Bank of Indianapolis Summer Nights Film Series

Bring your family to enjoy classic and lesser-known films under the stars at Newfields' beautiful art and nature park this summer. The series runs through August and celebrates 50 years of outdoor movie magic. Doors open at 7 PM, giving you time to claim your favorite spot on the grass, grab popcorn, and settle in as the sun goes down. Before each film starts, catch live music from local DJs and join in on trivia games and activities with friends and family. Just remember to pack sunscreen, bug spray, blankets, and your own snacks—plus any non-alcoholic drinks you'd like to enjoy. Movie start times shift throughout the season depending on sunset. If you'd rather skip the ground setup, reserved seating tickets let you bring your own chair, or you can pre-purchase a blanket to take home afterward. Food and drinks are available for purchase, including alcoholic beverages. In case of bad weather, the films move indoors to The Tobias Theater at 9 PM, and you'll get an email notification about any changes. Each screening pairs a short film with the main feature, so there's plenty of entertainment for the whole family.
