The ISO at UIndy: The Music of Kenji Bunch

The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra is hosting a special concert celebrating composer Kenji Bunch as part of their season's "Composer in the Spotlight" series. The best part? Bunch himself will be in attendance, making this a rare chance to experience his work directly from the source. You'll hear pieces written across his career, performed by ISO musicians on a variety of instruments including flute, clarinet, percussion, viola, and piano in different combinations. This is a wonderful outing for families who enjoy live orchestral music and want to introduce kids to contemporary composition. The concert takes place at the Christel DeHaan Fine Arts Center and admission is completely free, making it an accessible way to experience professional musicians and new music. It's the kind of intimate concert experience that can spark a real interest in music for young listeners.
