The Belfry Theatre Presents: Bad Seed at The Cat

The Belfry Theatre brings a classic psychological thriller to life with their production of "Bad Seed." This adaptation follows young Rhoda Penmark, who appears to be a perfectly well-mannered and charming girl—until a classmate mysteriously drowns after losing a penmanship competition to her. As suspicious circumstances unfold, Rhoda's mother begins to question what her daughter might truly be capable of. This dark story explores the unsettling contrast between appearances and reality, based on William March's novel. The show runs for six performances from September 4–13, with both evening and matinee options to fit different schedules. Evening performances are at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, while Sunday matinees begin at 2 p.m. Tickets are affordably priced at $22 for adults, $16 for seniors (64+), and $16 for children ages 5–18. Keep in mind this is a thriller with darker themes, so consider whether the content is appropriate for your children before attending.
