Teen Makers: Crochet 101

Teen Makers: Crochet 101

Teens learn crochet basics and create their first project with supplies provided.

Teen Makers is a workshop series designed to introduce young people to hands-on creative skills in a supportive group setting. In this Crochet 101 session, participants will learn the fundamentals of crochet—basic stitches, how to hold hooks and yarn, and how to start simple projects. No prior experience needed. It's a great way for teens to develop a relaxing, portable craft they can enjoy for years, work at their own pace, and maybe even make gifts for friends and family. Instructors guide everyone through the basics so beginners feel confident and welcome.
