TADPOLE TIME: Natural Dyes!

TADPOLE TIME: Natural Dyes!

Tadpole Time: learn to make natural dyes at W.S. Gibbs Memorial Park.

Kids will explore the world of natural dyes by creating their own colorful materials from common backyard items. During this hands-on session, children will learn the basics of dye-making and get to dye a piece of fabric that they can take home as a keepsake. It's a great way to combine creativity with discovering how nature provides us with beautiful colors. This program is designed for young learners ages 2–6 and runs for about an hour. Parents or guardians must stay with their child throughout the activity—this is not a drop-off program. Registration is required in advance, and spaces are limited to 15 children (with a minimum of 5 needed to run the program). The cost is $5 per child, while accompanying adults are free.
