TADPOLE TIME: Birding for Beginners!
Beginner birding adventure for young naturalists at W.S. Gibbs Memorial Park.
Join us for an introduction to birding designed with young explorers in mind! During this hour-long session, your child will learn how to use binoculars and other birding tools, discover the fundamentals of bird watching, and put their new skills to work spotting birds right here at W.S. Gibbs Memorial Park. It's a hands-on way to explore nature and get excited about the wildlife around us.
This program welcomes children ages 2โ6 and is led by instructor Ryann Hoffman. Please note: this is not a drop-off program, so a parent or guardian must stay with their child at no charge. The cost is $5 per child. Advance registration is required, and enrollment closes the week before the event. Space is limited to 15 participants, so we encourage you to register early.
