Storytime at Pike

Storytime is a classic library program where children gather to hear stories read aloud by a librarian or volunteer. Kids sit together—sometimes on a carpet or in chairs—while an adult shares picture books, chapter books, or folktales, often with voices, sound effects, and enthusiasm that bring the stories to life. It's a relaxed, interactive way for young children to discover new books, build listening skills, and enjoy the social fun of story time with other families.
