Story Tails with the dogs from Love on a Leash!

Children ages 5 to 11 are invited to share a meaningful experience with trained therapy dogs at this special library event. Participants should bring a favorite book to read aloud—and the dogs will be the perfect, most patient audience imaginable. Your child will have about 20 minutes to spend with the animals, reading to them while also learning interesting facts about what therapy pets do and why they're so special. Registration is required, and kids check in at the Children's Desk when you arrive. You'll sign up for a specific 20-minute time slot on a first-come basis. The whole program lasts an hour, and there's no cost to attend. This is a great opportunity for young readers to build confidence in a relaxed, judgment-free setting with some furry friends.
