Story Tails with the dogs from Love on a Leash!

Children ages 5 through 11 are invited to share a reading experience with friendly therapy dogs at this special library program. Each child should bring a favorite book to read aloud—these patient, gentle dogs make wonderfully attentive audiences! Kids will spend a few minutes with each dog and also learn about what therapy animals do and how they help people. Registration is required, and children must arrive early to check in at the Children's Desk on the evening of the event to claim a 20-minute time slot. There is no cost to participate. This is a great opportunity for young readers to practice their skills in a low-pressure, fun setting while connecting with some furry friends.
