STEM Day

Bring your family to STEM Day at Maker Playground for an afternoon of hands-on discovery and creation. This free, drop-in event welcomes makers of all ages to explore the space and try out equipment like 3D printers and other tools through guided activities. You'll get to see demonstrations from staff and volunteers about how to use the CNC router and lasers—all the cool stuff that lets you turn ideas into reality. There's no need to register or RSVP; just show up with your curiosity and see what you can make. Whether your kids are seasoned tinkerers or trying a maker space for the first time, this is a great chance to get comfortable with new technology and see what's possible when creativity meets tools. The event runs from noon to 5 p.m., so you can pop in whenever works best for your family.
