Rosamunde Quartet

The Rosamunde Quartet is making its first appearance in Indianapolis as part of a co-presentation with Ensemble Music Society. This ensemble brings together four exceptional musicians: Noah Bendix-Balgley, who serves as First Concertmaster of the Berlin Philharmonic, violinist Shanshan Yao from Kammerakademie Potsdam, violist Teng Li, who is Principal of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and cellist Nathan Vickery, a native of Indianapolis who performs with the New York Philharmonic. The quartet will perform a thoughtfully curated program that includes Beethoven's first string quartet and Mendelssohn's final work in the genre.
