Rosamunde Quartet

Rosamunde Quartet in Indianapolis

The Rosamunde Quartet is making its first appearance in Indianapolis as part of a co-presentation with Ensemble Music Society. This ensemble brings together four exceptional musicians: Noah Bendix-Balgley, who serves as First Concertmaster of the Berlin Philharmonic, violinist Shanshan Yao from Kammerakademie Potsdam, violist Teng Li, who is Principal of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and cellist Nathan Vickery, a native of Indianapolis who performs with the New York Philharmonic. The quartet will perform a thoughtfully curated program that includes Beethoven's first string quartet and Mendelssohn's final work in the genre. This is an excellent opportunity for families who appreciate classical music and chamber performances to experience world-class musicians in an intimate setting. If your family enjoys symphonic music or wants to introduce children to live orchestral performance, this event offers a chance to hear celebrated professionals.
