ROOTED IN NATURE CLUB: Wildflower Walk
Teen-focused wildflower walk at W.S. Gibbs Memorial Park.
Celebrate the end of summer with a guided nature walk focused on wildflowers. Led by park naturalists, you'll stroll through W.S. Gibbs Memorial Park identifying and learning about the perennial blooms currently in bloom. Each participant gets to create their own wildflower bouquet to take home, plus the option to make a flower "junk journal" as a creative keepsake for pressing and preserving your discoveries.
This program is designed for teens ages 13โ18 and runs about an hour and a half. Registration is $10 per participant, and while this is a drop-off program, parents are welcome to stay and observe at no cost. Please note that advance registration is required, and the program will be canceled in case of severe weather. Meet everyone at the Bluegill Pavilion.
