ROOTED IN NATURE CLUB: Night Hike

Experience McCloud Nature Park after dark during this special evening adventure. Your group will explore the trails with guidance from knowledgeable naturalists while your eyes gradually adjust to low light—just like the nocturnal animals you'll encounter. Flashlights are provided for safety, and the evening concludes with a cozy campfire complete with s'mores. The program lasts approximately 90 minutes and runs rain or shine (though severe weather may cause cancellation). This drop-off program is designed for teens ages 13–18 and costs $10 per participant. Parents and guardians are welcome to stay and observe at no cost. You'll gather at the Nature Center to begin. Registration is required in advance and enrollment closes a few days before the event. Group size is limited to ensure a quality experience with a maximum of 15 participants.
