PARKS FOR POLLINATORS BIOBLITZ: MONARCH BUTTERFLIES
Hunt for and identify monarch butterflies with naturalists in Central Park—citizen science fun.
Parks for Pollinators Bioblitz is a hands-on nature exploration event where families become citizen scientists, learning to identify and observe monarch butterflies and other pollinators in their habitat. Participants of all ages help document local wildlife while discovering how these essential insects support our ecosystems. It's a wonderful way to combine outdoor exploration, outdoor learning, and environmental stewardship in one activity—no prior experience needed, just curiosity and a willingness to look closely at the natural world around you.
