Your child's tiny handprint deserves to be preserved forever—and at Kiln Creations, that's exactly what happens. During your studio visit, you'll choose a festive design (Santa, reindeer, snowman, penguin, Christmas tree, menorah, or seasonal favorites), and our team will capture your child's hand or footprint directly in clay. That's the easy part. You leave, and our artists handle the rest: carefully shaping each print, adding your child's name and the year, hand-painting the design you selected, and firing it multiple times until it's a beautiful, finished ceramic keepsake ready to hang or gift. Appointments are required since every ornament is handcrafted and production is limited each season. Pricing starts at $35 for one ornament, with discounts for larger orders (three for $96, five for $150)—perfect if you're making keepsakes for grandparents or multiple trees. Don't worry if your little one feels hesitant about the clay; the team works patiently with babies and toddlers to get the best print possible. Since everything is handmade, slight variations are natural and add to each piece's charm.
