Nature Journaling at Gibbs
Nature journaling class at W.S. Gibbs Memorial Park.
Get outside and connect with the natural world during this guided nature walk. A park naturalist will lead your family through the grounds, teaching everyone how to observe wildlife, plants, and other outdoor details while recording what you notice in a journal. It's a hands-on way to slow down and really see what's happening around you. Small journals are provided at no extra cost, though you're welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
This activity works well for kids ages 7 and up, though younger children (5+) are welcome to join. The program runs about an hour and a half and costs just $3 per person regardless of age. Spots are limited to 15 participants, so register early through the park's online system. You'll meet at the Bluegill Pavilion to get started.
