NATURE DISCOVERY: Seek at the Creek!

Kids ages 7–12 will wade into Big Walnut Creek to hunt for minnows, crayfish, fossils, and interesting rocks alongside our naturalists. The program leaders will bring nets and catching tools, so you don't need to gather your own—though you're welcome to bring equipment if you'd like. This is a hands-on exploration where children get to experience what lives in and around the creek. This is a parent-accompanied program (not a drop-off option), and the whole experience lasts about two hours. Each child's admission is $5, while parents and guardians attend free. You'll need to complete online registration and payment before the program date; registration isn't available at the park itself on the day of the event.
