NATURE DAY CAMP (AGES 7-12): Water Warriors

Kids ages 7 to 12 will spend the day exploring life in and around the creek at McCloud Nature Park. The camp focuses on discovering aquatic creatures and enjoying water-based activities, with hands-on stations set up along the creek bank offering a variety of water-themed explorations. It's a great way for children to connect with nature and learn about their local ecosystem in an active, engaging way. The camp runs for about two hours and costs $30 per child. Children should bring a snack, a change of clothes, and a towel, so they're ready for getting wet and muddy. Registration is required for each child attending, and you can sign up by calling McCloud Nature Center at (765) 676-5437. The program accommodates up to 20 children. In case of severe weather forecasts, the camp may be cancelled with notification by 3 p.m. the day before; however, typical summer weather won't stop the activities, as indoor alternatives are available during extreme heat or storms.
