NATURE DAY CAMP (AGES 7-12): Get Messy!

Your child will spend the morning getting gloriously dirty at McCloud Nature Park! Campers rotate through messy stations where they'll make mud pies, create mud paintings, and play outdoor games—basically everything that results in grass stains and big smiles. This is hands-on nature fun at its finest, so definitely pack a change of clothes and a towel. The camp runs for about two hours and costs $30. Kids should bring water and a snack along with their extra outfit. Weather won't stop the fun—activities move indoors during extreme heat or thunderstorms, though severe weather forecasts may result in cancellation (you'll be notified by phone and email by 3 p.m. the day before).
