Lenape Baskets

This hands-on camp introduces kids to the rich cultural heritage of the Lenape people through the traditional art of basket weaving. Participants will learn authentic techniques, understand the historical significance of basketry in Lenape life, and create their own woven basket to take home. It's a meaningful way for families to explore Native American craftsmanship and history while developing patience, creativity, and fine motor skills in a welcoming, educational setting.
