KIDS ON THE WHEEL: 4-WEEK POTTERY CLASS

Your child will spend four Wednesday afternoons in November at the pottery wheel, learning wheel-throwing from the ground up. This beginner class is perfect for kids ages 8–13 with no prior clay experience. They'll start with the fundamentals—centering clay, pulling walls, and shaping—and gradually work toward creating finished bowls and other pieces. Each session runs from noon to 1 p.m., giving them genuine hands-on time at the wheel with instruction every step of the way. What's included in registration makes this a complete experience: all clay, wheel time, a personal tool kit, and professional firing of their work. Every piece gets bisque fired at no extra cost, and glazing plus glaze firing happen after the class wraps up, so kids take home actual finished pottery—not dried-out scraps. Plan to send them in comfortable clothes ready for clay mess, which is honestly part of the appeal. Note that tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
