Keychain Critters

Kids and adults alike can create their own take-home keychain at this hands-on crafting session held at the Ray & Mary Benson Nature Center. Participants will choose between making a paracord or beaded keychain design, and our naturalists will guide you through the process—no prior crafting experience required. This is a relaxed, welcoming activity perfect for families looking for a creative afternoon at the nature park. The program runs for one hour and welcomes children ages 5 and up, along with adults. Registration opens in early September and spots fill up to a maximum of 20 participants, so signing up early is a good idea. The cost is just $2 per person. This indoor program means you can enjoy it regardless of weather, making it a reliable option for a quick nature center visit.
