Homeschool Series: Community Science

Your homeschooling family is invited to spend three weeks learning real scientific practices at Conner Prairie. Designed for mixed ages, this series lets families and co-ops explore together through hands-on activities across the property. Each weekly session focuses on a different skill: testing water quality, identifying birds, and using mobile apps to recognize species. Kids and adults will collect data, make observations, and share discoveries with each other and with scientific communities locally and nationwide. Sessions run once weekly over three weeks (August 26, September 2, and 9). Admission is $40 for members or $50 for non-members, with one adult included free and additional adults at $10 each. This is a great fit if you're looking to build genuine scientific thinking skills while spending time outdoors as a family.
