Home School Clay Day

Your young artist can design and paint their own ceramic mug during this hands-on pottery session. Participants choose from Halloween and fall-themed designs—think friendly jack-o'-lanterns, spooky ghosts, colorful leaves, or any original idea they dream up. The class is perfect for homeschooled kids looking for a creative afternoon activity where they have full control over their artistic vision. Instruction starts at 1pm, and walk-ins are welcome as long as supplies are available, though registering ahead is recommended. The cost is $18 per artist. After the class begins, staff assistance becomes limited, so arriving on time helps. Once finished, the mugs are kiln-fired and ready for pickup about 3 to 4 days later.
