Young artists will learn essential clay techniques—wedging, rolling, slipping, and scoring—to craft their own one-of-a-kind ornaments. The best part? Participants complete the entire process in a single class, from shaping their pieces to painting them. Each artist goes home with three fired ornaments ready to hang or give as gifts. The session costs $16 per child and runs with instruction beginning at the scheduled time. Walk-ins are welcome as long as supplies remain available, though advance registration online or by phone is recommended to guarantee your spot. Keep in mind that once the class officially starts, instructors have limited capacity for additional help, so arriving on time allows your child to get the most from the guided instruction.
