Guided Nature Walks: Prairietown Garden Walk

Take a leisurely walk through Prairietown with Mr. Armstrong, a knowledgeable gardener and nature lover who works as a resident interpreter at Conner Prairie. He'll share insights about the gardens and natural spaces while you stroll together, making this a great opportunity for families curious about local history and horticulture. The walk is suitable for all ages and welcomes anyone interested in chatting with costumed interpreters and enjoying the outdoors. The walk follows a wide, crushed gravel path through Prairietown, with several benches positioned along the route near points of interest like the Lenape Indian Camp, Conner House, and Animal Encounters area. This program runs rain or shine, so come prepared with sun protection, hats, water, or other comfort items you might need. Restrooms with accessible facilities are located in the Museum Experience Center, where you'll meet your guide near the tram turnaround. The walk is included free with general admission to Conner Prairie.
