Guided Nature Walks: Civic Love
Guided nature walks at Conner Prairie in Fishers.
Join a guided walk through Conner Prairie's scenic trails as you explore meaningful conversation and community connection. This one-hour program uses the "36 Questions for Civic Love"—a set of thought-provoking prompts from the National Public Housing Museum—to help families and friends deepen their relationships while enjoying nature together. The walk covers about three-quarters to one mile at a comfortable pace, traveling along a flat, paved trail with partial shade and benches along the way.
The route is accessible and family-friendly for all ages and abilities. You'll start at the Museum Experience Center, descend a short paved hill, then follow the Prairie Trail. The program runs rain or shine, so come prepared with sunscreen, hats, and water as needed. At the end, you can head back with the guide or continue exploring on your own. Best of all, this experience is included free with general admission to Conner Prairie. If you have specific accessibility questions or needs, reach out to the Nature Engagement Specialist at morton@connerprairie.org before your visit.
