Four Week Wheel Lessons: Sundays

Get ready to try your hand at pottery with this beginner-friendly wheel throwing class. Over four Sunday sessions in September, an instructor named Skylee will guide your family through the fundamentals of working with clay on the wheel. Each 90-minute session gives you plenty of time to practice and build your skills at a comfortable pace. This is a great introduction to the craft, whether your child is curious about pottery for the first time or wants to develop their abilities. Your registration covers all the essentials: clay, wheel access, and a tool kit to get started. We suggest bringing a small bucket (about one gallon capacity) and dressing in clothes that can handle getting messy and allow you to move freely. Anything you create during class will receive a complimentary bisque firing. A nice bonus: your four-week enrollment also includes access to Open Wheel Times on Thursday evenings, so you can continue creating after the course wraps up. Glaze firing is available for an additional fee based on the size of your pieces. Keep in mind that class registrations are final—tickets cannot be refunded or transferred to another person.
