Four Week Pottery Wheel Class

Your child will get hands-on experience with one of humanity's oldest art forms in this four-week pottery wheel class. Each 90-minute session focuses on beginner techniques and building foundational clay skills. All materials are provided—clay, wheel access, and a starter tool kit are included with registration. Students should bring a small bucket (about one gallon) and wear clothing they're comfortable getting messy in. Here's a nice bonus: class registration also includes a pass to Open Wheel Times on Thursday evenings, giving your young potter extra practice opportunities. Anything created during class will be bisque fired at no charge, though glaze firing costs $.06 per cubic inch. Keep in mind that tickets are final—non-refundable and non-transferrable. It's a great introduction to wheel throwing for kids ready to try something creative and tactile.
