Discover Your Backyard: Mammals
Discover local wildlife through hands-on activities with the Trailhopper mobile outreach vehicle.
This nature-focused program invites families to explore the wildlife living right in their own neighborhoods. Through guided observation and hands-on learning, participants discover which mammals are active in local habitats, how to identify them, and the signs they leave behind. It's a wonderful introduction to backyard ecology that helps kids develop real naturalist skills and a deeper appreciation for the animals sharing their community.
