Cyanotype Workshop with the Crown Hill’s Artists-in-Residence

Cyanotype Workshop with the Crown Hill’s Artists-in-Residence

Learn the cyanotype printing process and create your own sun-activated prints.

Join a hands-on cyanotype workshop celebrating the summer solstice! Led by Artist-in-Residence Jessica Dunn, you'll discover how this unique photography technique uses UV light to create striking blueprint-style images—and you don't need a camera to participate. The workshop includes all cyanotype materials in the admission fee, plus a variety of interesting supplies for you to use as you create your own prints. This is a wonderful activity for families curious about art and science working together. Whether your kids are budding artists or just looking for something different to do, you'll leave with your own one-of-a-kind cyanotype creation. It's a great way to spend time outdoors while learning a creative skill from a working artist.
