Curious By Nature: Let’s Go Creek Stomping!
Kids explore creeks and nature at Conner Prairie in Fishers.
Your kids will love getting down and dirty at this special creek-stomping adventure! During this program, children hike through the woods and explore the creek bed at Conner Prairie's forest school, using observation skills to spot plants and wildlife along the way. There's plenty of opportunity for splashing, mud-stomping fun, and the outing wraps up at a designated basecamp where exploration and play continue.
This is part of the Curious by Nature homeschool program, held Monday mornings when the prairie is closed to the public, giving your group extra room to roam across the 1,000+ acre grounds. Kids ages 5 and up are welcome (younger siblings cannot attend for safety reasons). Tickets are $10 per child, with one adult admitted free and additional adults $5 each. Two time slots are available. Since kids will definitely get wet and muddy, pack a full change of clothes and shoes. The program involves substantial walking and outdoor activity, so dress appropriately for the weather. If your child has accessibility needs, contact Guest Relations at 317-776-6000 to discuss accommodations.
