Curious By Nature: Canoeing Down the White River

Your family will paddle about two and a half miles down the White River, taking in the natural sights and wildlife along the way. Participants will learn canoeing fundamentals and stop halfway through for hands-on river exploration, swimming, and splashing. The trip finishes with a light snack and water before heading back to the starting point. Experienced staff and a lifeguard will guide the entire outing. This program is designed for kids ages 8 and up. Children 8–11 need a parent or guardian present; kids 12–16 may join independently if you prefer. Canoes fit three participants each, and families can bring up to two adults (one free, one for $20). Children are $20 each. The experience depends on favorable weather and river conditions, so check in advance. Remember to dress for outdoor activity and water-based exploration.
