Clay Class; Frog Forts

Your child will create a charming miniature hideaway in this two-session clay workshop. During the first session, participants handbuild a rounded dome fort with a matching base plate, adding their own creative touches like tiny doors, windows, mushrooms, stepping stones, and vines. After the initial creation, pieces are left to dry and then kiln-fired. Two weeks later, families return to paint and glaze their finished Frog Forts in whatever colors they imagine—from earthy woodland tones to bright whimsical hues. This class welcomes all skill levels and all ages, with children under 13 needing a parent or guardian to participate alongside them. The $38 fee covers all materials and firings, and the finished piece is made from sturdy stoneware clay, making it perfect for display in a garden, on a shelf, or as a unique keepsake. Note that tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
