Clay Class; Frog Forts

Your child will create a charming Frog Fort during this two-part clay workshop at Kiln Creations. On day one, participants handbuild a rounded dome hideaway complete with a matching base plate, cutting out doors and windows while adding decorative details like mushrooms, stepping stones, or vines. After the first session, pieces are dried and kiln-fired. Two weeks later, families return to paint and glaze their creations in whatever colors they imagine—from earthy woodland tones to whimsical brights. All skill levels are welcome, and step-by-step guidance makes it beginner-friendly. The finished Frog Fort becomes a sturdy stoneware piece perfect for a garden display, shelf, or imaginative play. The $38 fee covers all materials and kiln firings. Children under 13 should have an adult attend the building session to assist with hands-on work.
