Celebrating Avon 2026

Free family festival at Avon Public Library celebrating town's past, present & future.

Join your family for a free festival celebrating everything that makes Avon special—its history, community, and future. Held at the Avon-Washington Township Public Library, this annual gathering welcomes everyone without any entry fee or tickets required. You'll find plenty to keep kids entertained, from walking the Pioneer Path to learn about traditional crafts like beekeeping and yarn spinning, to enjoying the giant inflatable slide. The festival also features table top games, putt-putt golf, and archery activities for various interests and age groups. Beyond the activities, there's a festive atmosphere with a special Candy Drop happening on the west side of the building. If your family gets hungry, affordable lunch options will be available inside the new Huron Hall. Whether your kids are interested in hands-on learning, outdoor games, or just a fun day out, this is a relaxed, welcoming event designed for the whole family to enjoy together.
