CarmelFest 2026

CarmelFest is a two-day Independence Day celebration in downtown Carmel that offers something for everyone. The festival runs from noon to 10 p.m. on both Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4, with activities spread across Carmel Civic Square, City Hall, and Carter Green. You can drop in for just your favorite activities or commit to a full day of festivities. The lineup includes live music, local artists, food and drink vendors, a marketplace, and a beer and wine garden for adults. The KidsZone is packed with hands-on fun: mechanical rides, obstacle courses, and bungee jumping keep older kids entertained, while a petting farm lets younger children feed and interact with animals. The celebration wraps up with a parade on Saturday morning (10:30 a.m. to noon) followed by fireworks synchronized to music at 9:45 p.m. Best of all, this event is completely free, making it an affordable way to celebrate the holiday with your family.
