Audio Looping Workshop with the Crown Hill’s Artists-in-Residence

Join a hands-on creative experience at Crown Hill Cemetery led by an artist-in-residence. You and your family will start with a guided sound walk through the cemetery grounds, tuning in to the acoustics of different spaces. As you explore, you'll record the ambient sounds around you using your smartphone, capturing the unique audio environment of the location. This workshop invites participants to think creatively about sound and composition. You'll work directly with Michael Moskaliuk, the artist-in-residence, to turn your recordings into original audio loops—layered sound pieces you've created yourself. It's a great way to experience a local landmark from a fresh perspective while developing a new creative skill.
