"American Landscapes" Concert by the Indiana Wind Symphony
Wind symphony concert celebrating American musical landscapes and new compositions.
The Indiana Wind Symphony invites families to explore the musical landscapes of America through an evening of wind ensemble performance. This concert features the Indiana premiere of a brand-new symphony by composer James M. David called "The Road is Life," which was created with support from a consortium including the Indiana Wind Symphony itself. You'll also hear from featured soloist Anthony Kniffen, a tubist with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, who brings his expertise to the program.
This is a great outing for families who enjoy live orchestral music and want to experience emerging compositions alongside classical favorites. The performance takes place at the Payne & Mencias Palladium, a quality venue in Carmel designed for the performing arts. Whether your family is new to wind symphony concerts or you're regular attendees, this event offers a chance to hear fresh music alongside talented musicians.
